Other ships had sent out warning via Morse Code that said they were seeing ice, or had been surrounded by ice. Titanic radio guy had pushed them off.
Fredrick Flee and Reginald Lee spotted an Iceberg a bit a ways in front of the ship. They sounded the bell and phoned the bridge. When someone answered, Fleet shouted, "Iceberg, right ahead!"
A few attemps were made to halt the collision. Unfortunatly, too many orders were given and people got mixed up, and since they only had 37 seconds to react...maybe this caused the sinking?
Life Boat #7 was lowered into the Atlantic. The crew aboard the Titanic ordered 'Women and Children First'. Many of the third class people were kept back for the first class
Life Boat #8 was lowered into the water with twenty-eight people aboard. It was one of 20, all together the twenty could carry 1,178. Each one could also carry 65 each.
The openings for the anchors went under the water. Since the only place water could get in before was the iceberg holes, this caused the Titanic to sink even faster that before, and even weighed down the bow even more.
Life Boat #9 left the ship with 65, the maximum amount that could ride, on the life boat.
Life Boat #4 evacuated the ship, it was the last life boat to leave the R.M. S Titanic. It was this boat that went back for the people in the freezing water.
